About this transfer

Panajachel is the main town on the shore of Lake Atitlán, surrounded by volcanoes and the starting point for boats to the other lake villages. The road leaves the city across the highlands and, at the end, winds down toward the lake, with views worth looking out the window for.

Good to know

  • The last stretch has lots of curves: if you get carsick easily, keep a pill handy.
  • To visit other lake villages (San Pedro, San Juan, Santiago…), take a boat from the Panajachel docks.
  • Carry cash in quetzales: many places only take cash.

How do I find my driver at the airport?

As you exit the arrivals area, your driver will be waiting with a sign with your name on it. You’ll also have our WhatsApp for anything you need.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight, so if it arrives late we’ll wait for you at no extra cost.

Is the price per person?

Yes. The price is per person and goes down for groups: 3 people, 10% off; 4–5 people, 20% off; 6–8 people, 30% off. Minimum 2 people per booking; if you travel solo, you pay the 2-person price.

How many people can travel?

Up to 8 people per booking. For larger groups, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll arrange it.

Can we stop along the way?

Yes! One free stop of up to 15 minutes is included — for coffee, an ATM, a SIM card or a photo.

Is this a shared shuttle?

No. It’s 100% private: the vehicle is only for your group, going directly from Guatemala Airport to Panajachel.

What vehicle will we get?

It depends on your group: a sedan for 1–2 people, an SUV for 3 and a van for 4–8. All are private and air-conditioned.

How much luggage can I bring?

1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on per person is included. Bringing more luggage or surfboards? Just tell us when you book so we send the right vehicle.

Do you have baby or child seats?

Yes, and they're free. When you book, tick that you're traveling with a baby or child and tell us how many seats you need and the child's age.

How do I book?
