About this transfer

The classic transfer between Guatemala's two most-visited places: from Antigua's colonial streets to the shore of Lake Atitlán. The road crosses the highlands and ends with a descent toward the lake, with your first view of the volcanoes from above.

Good to know

  • The final descent to the lake has lots of curves: if you get carsick, sit up front or bring a pill.
  • Boats to other villages leave from the Panajachel docks. The lake is usually calmer in the morning than in the afternoon.
  • Staying in another lake village? Let us know when you book so we can arrange the drop-off point.

Where do you pick me up?

We pick you up at your hotel or address in Antigua Guatemala. We’ll arrange the exact time and place with you on WhatsApp.

Is the price per person?

Yes. The price is per person and goes down for groups: 3 people, 10% off; 4–5 people, 20% off; 6–8 people, 30% off. Minimum 2 people per booking; if you travel solo, you pay the 2-person price.

How many people can travel?

Up to 8 people per booking. For larger groups, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll arrange it.

Can we stop along the way?

Yes! One free stop of up to 15 minutes is included — for coffee, an ATM, a SIM card or a photo.

Is this a shared shuttle?

No. It’s 100% private: the vehicle is only for your group, going directly from Antigua Guatemala to Panajachel.

What vehicle will we get?

It depends on your group: a sedan for 1–2 people, an SUV for 3 and a van for 4–8. All are private and air-conditioned.

How much luggage can I bring?

1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on per person is included. Bringing more luggage or surfboards? Just tell us when you book so we send the right vehicle.

Do you have baby or child seats?

Yes, and they're free. When you book, tick that you're traveling with a baby or child and tell us how many seats you need and the child's age.

How do I book?
