About this transfer

El Paredón is a beach village on the Pacific coast, with black volcanic sand, surf-friendly waves and huge sunsets. The drive heads down from the city toward the coast: the air gets warmer and the landscape turns to fields and palm trees.

Good to know

  • It's hot all year: bring light clothes, sunscreen and sandals. The black sand gets very hot at midday.
  • The Pacific has strong waves and currents: swim carefully and ask your hotel where it's safe.
  • Carry cash in quetzales: many places only take cash.

How do I find my driver at the airport?

As you exit the arrivals area, your driver will be waiting with a sign with your name on it. You’ll also have our WhatsApp for anything you need.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight, so if it arrives late we’ll wait for you at no extra cost.

Is the price per person?

Yes. The price is per person and goes down for groups: 3 people, 10% off; 4–5 people, 20% off; 6–8 people, 30% off. Minimum 2 people per booking; if you travel solo, you pay the 2-person price.

How many people can travel?

Up to 8 people per booking. For larger groups, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll arrange it.

Can we stop along the way?

Yes! One free stop of up to 15 minutes is included — for coffee, an ATM, a SIM card or a photo.

Is this a shared shuttle?

No. It’s 100% private: the vehicle is only for your group, going directly from Guatemala Airport to El Paredón.

What vehicle will we get?

It depends on your group: a sedan for 1–2 people, an SUV for 3 and a van for 4–8. All are private and air-conditioned.

How much luggage can I bring?

1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on per person is included. Bringing more luggage or surfboards? Just tell us when you book so we send the right vehicle.

Do you have baby or child seats?

Yes, and they're free. When you book, tick that you're traveling with a baby or child and tell us how many seats you need and the child's age.

How do I book?
